Is English a vital subject or supplemantary subject?Why?


In my opinion, English is a vital subject.
Why? My first point is, English as the first language.No matter where we go, English have unite us together.With English, we can communicate with all people in the world.
Second,English is vital in order to find job opportunity.In the world now,to find job opportunity we have to compete with each others.If we are unable to expert in English this will cause our percent to get job will be lower.In addition, most of the job opportunity need those who are good in English and can speak fluently in English especially in business world,so that they can get along with clients came from different countries.
Beside that, as students, most of the references book or event the information in the internet are in English. If they do not good in English, they cant understand the topics that they learn and can causes their performance in school slope down.
From the above statement it show as that English is vital subject and not just supplementary subject.
